Message From Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan

"In my opinion, it is our sole responsibility to reform and improve our electoral system. The transparent Electoral process is considered as the key instrument in democracy and the transparent elections give credibility and strength to a democratic system. My vision is to make Election Commission Gilgit-Baltistan more energetic and also looking forward for having progressive election management body that deliver its constitutional mandate of organizing and conducting elections honestly. Moreover, saying no to corrupt practices, having full trust of the people and contributing towards a well-built democracy in Gilgit-Baltistan. The difficult task of conducting credible elections can only be achieved with the highest level of transparency and the use of the latest technology".
